Your event is a magical dance of numerous moving parts all coming together perfectly creating a once in a lifetime night. There are three things that people remember most after attending a wedding, a sweet 16, a corporate gala, or a bar/bat mitzvah - the food, the music, and the atmosphere.

Your entertainment team will be responsible for carrying the flow of the event from beginning to end, from the moment you are introduced at your event to sweating on dance floor during the final song of the night. Our entertainment teams come in many different shapes and sizes, from live djs/mcs to live multi-piece bands to specialty acts such as Cirque de Soleil, and is the perfect area of your event to get creative and think out of the box.

As with all of our services, the entertainment team is part of your hand-picked team. We will spend time with you getting to know you, creating a relationship, a friendship, creating synergy, and creating trust, just as you will do with your planning team. Your event host and dj will not be someone that just works your event on that night. They are a huge part of the planning team. They will understand what is important to you in terms of entertainment; they will know and be prepared with the type of music you want for that night; they will have examples of events worked and referrals to show you so that you can see exactly what you will get at your event; and finally, they will make you feel comfortable turning over the reigns of control to them at the event so that you can enjoy yourself.

Everyone on your entertainment team will have different roles, but the same goals, to create those “Wow” moments that will become memories for a lifetime. Your DJ is a master of his/her craft, knowing how to mix and blend music, transitioning the event from the specific moments, focusing on what is coming up next, and always keeping a flow going that keeps your guests up and dancing. On the other hand, your host is like the maestro at an orchestra. His/Her job is to focus on the people - the guests, the vendors, the team, and you - and be the glue that holds all of these puzzle pieces together. They make sure that everything happens the way it is supposed to happen, that everyone is always on same page, and that the very detailed, organized timeline that you and your planning team created is followed exactly. At the same time, your host will be full of personality and fun, having a natural flow, engaging with you and your guests, and making everyone feel like he/she is partying with them. Your event is not just another that we are hosting and providing entertainment for; it is your day to celebrate and we are right there celebrating with you, having the time of our lives right alongside our new friends, and creating fun that you will want to relive over and over again.

 

 

From the moment I wake up in the morning, I know that each and every day is going to be special. I’ve done everything from speaking in another country in front of thousands of people to hosting a friend’s intimate wedding in their backyard, and what I’ve learned is that it all starts with the right mindset when that day starts.

What I tell my clients from the very first meeting is that we, their entertainment team, work so hard before the big day and behind to scenes so that they can enjoy every second of their event. We get to know you, we create timelines, and we organize every meticulous detail so that when the time comes, your goal and only focus is to have as much fun as possible. As a host, my favorite thing to do on the morning of a wedding or quinceanera is to text you and ask, “Are you ready?” The job of an event’s host is as much mental as physical. I must keep your state of mind good, worry-free, and focused on the goal of enjoying yourself.

For me, as a wedding host, the minute you arrive at your venue for the reception, it is game on. To get the party started, I love to ask my brides and grooms one question, “How does it feel to be married?” Their excitement in their responses is contagious and sets the mood for the party. When I’m hosting your event, I’m so much more than just a host; I’m your best friend, your cruise-director, and I’m there to do what needs to be done, from helping put on shoes, organizing any last minute changes, and cleaning tables, I’ve done and will do it all for you.
